The Youth Innovative Program: Environmental Education (YIPEE) strives to provide youth with a safe place to learn about health, nutrition, fitness, and environment. Children learn about the importance of leading healthy lifestyles through weekly field trips, an interactive curriculum, and long term projects. In an effort to effectively improve our community’s health, our weekly parent meetings include workshops such as healthy cooking and Zumba that coincides with our program values. The whole family is impacted by the life changing values we promote. YIPEE provides its participants with a reliable, safe, and rewarding program free of charge in a community that lacks affordable out of school programming. 2016 is the year we celebrate our 10th Anniversary since the birth of YIPEE.
